Yesterday I wasn't sure if I should post it, as I feel that summer is going to an end, and I think it was supposedly said that we have our weekend sketches only for holidays. Honestly, I wasn't proud of myself about what I did this weekend too, I was a bit ashamed and didn't want to share my doodles. But finally I realized that, even if they're not as good as I want them to be, their still mine, and they show my passion about my city and my love to Lodz. So here they are. Hope you enjoy.
Inspired by colorful travel journal drawn by Анастасия Кардашова which I found on Doodlersanonymous I decided to incorporate some color to my weekend sketches. I wanted this category to be about holidays, sun and having good time so there should be more joy and energy. That is wy I was considering some watercolor stains or a crayon drawing. FInally, not to brag, I ended up with green pen instead of the black one. And instead of laughing vacationers there is historical architecture between the greenery. I'll work on more color, I promise.
Remember my post about an office I designed? Since I decided to concentrate in here on my projects I would like to look back for a while and show you a bit more of this. This project was created in collaboration with Workplace Solutions. You can see more pictures in Provident's gallery on their website (or on my Office board on Pinterest here and here). It's such a wonderfull feeling to know that your project is well received! Everything is customized and adapted to employees so every day is like made especially for them. I'm so pleased when I see them smiling and being satisfied with their office. Feeling so blessed for the opportunity of working with their office managment team! It was amazing time and I hope there will be more projects like this one in our futures.
I know I wasn't supposed to write in here about any of my projects form work but I'm really proud and I feel I need to share that.
I was working on this project for one and a half year, starting from some researches and analysis and ending on furniture and whiteboards. The conception is based on improving coworking and initiating flexible style of work. Because of that, there is a lot of well absorbing, acoustic stuff as: dividing screens, wall panels, free-hanging ceiling units or ad-hoc furniture, which brings a fresh air to well known, ordinary open space.
I like the fact I was able to connect puristic design, based on whites and greys, contrasting textures (matt, glossy, porous, smooth etc.) and some graphics on walls, with energetic, colourful elements which makes this space more joyfull and stimulating.
We were doing some professional shooting there, after adding all paintings and plants. I'll show you after postproduction.
I'm learning. I'm doing the best I can right now, and I'm getting better with it every day - Peter Clifford
