It's been quite a long time since I painted for the last time and I have to admit that it's hard to be back in game. I think that with all kinds of manual skills you just need to practice constantly to have your hands trained and your brain filled with new ideas. So there's only one watercolor painting prepared for you guys for now but I'm kicking off the whole new series so stay tuned and check out my Instagram for all my latest updates.

I've spent last two days in the studio alone, missing my beloved one. Was trying to do my duties but the winter weather was rainy and melancholic and the only think I managed to do was to plan my schedule for upcoming year. (Is "upcoming" even a good word, though? This year has already begun and I know... I know... I should did the planning a month ago...) But know it's time to spend the friday evening as it should be spent - relaxing and watching some movies. Have a great weekend! Build up your strength for the next week because we're gonna have a lot happening here!
This year I decided to push a step further my fruity watercolor experience. Because so many of my closest friends appreciated my mixed technique artwork of fruits I wanted to prepare a few paintings much more personalized and unique for them, using similar aesthetics and means of expression. I differentiated the paper size, the color scheme and the set of fruits, depending on for whom I was preparing the gift. I tried to take into account the taste of the recipient as well. On this basis, one of my paintings is more strawberry, another more girly and pink, and the other one multicolor and multifuit. I like the fact that all those paintings reminds Summer, thought.
Few days ago I've been asked to design a set of fruity paintings expanding the idea and the technique of the one from last year. Most likely I'll pick up the gauntlet because I really had a lot of fun designing it. Honestly, I'm curious about results! It took me some time to organize this Etsy shop. It wasn't difficult at all, to be honest, but I wanted it to be done properly and fully, with all needed descriptions and photos about my shop, my artworks, about what I do and how it all started, and about me as a seller too. From now on, you can visit me there to see majority of my artworks collected together. Some of them you might have seen before on the blog (secretly hidden in the last post), others I'm showing you in this post. There are a few which you haven't seen yet and I'll publish them on Etsy soon.
I'm wondering about changing the title of the website for my logotype. I did that partially on Etsy and I'm still convincing myself to that. Maybe it shouldn't look exactly as it looks on Etsy because it's rather a headline there. And I need a logo... What do you think? Should I? Maybe it's a good question to rethink during my upcoming Christmas holidays? Anyway, I hope you'll like it and you'll find interesting what I've written. Feel free to browse and to share your comments with me! Have a nice day! There was so many amazing things happening in my life lately, so it's been quite long since I wrote something here for the last time. But as it is with extremely busy periods, they always bring us many inspiring experiences and stuff to talk about. I think I owe you a quick update before I'll tell you more about each thing... Briefly, with Antilight we had a few amazing shootings for the blog and for Breka (and we're still working on the main website content, on the shop and the Breka's blog so stay tuned!). She is so talented! I love the atmosphere she creates on the set and I love how stirring all photos are. Moreover, I launched my personal shop with watercolor paintings on Etsy (<- click here to see it now, and I'll tell you a bit more about my experiences shortly) and I already started next semester of my studies and, honestly, there is a lot to do but I really enjoy each single project! And finally... I work on my master degree in architecture which is totally different from all previously mentioned thinks and keeps my brain truly concentrated and in form! I really needed a rest and some spare time too, to recharge my betteries and to rethink my calendar. And because it's the most current issue, please forgive me my absence, and just give me one extra day, and tomorrow I'll tell you about my tricks how to relax well and how I deal with a stress (cause abviously I'm the one who get stressed from time to time as well). See you tomorrow! If there is something what interests you the most, please leave me a comment and let me know what you would be pleased to read first! :) Photo by talented Antilight
