It's one of the exhibits from Monika Zawadzki collection called The Cattle, which was shown in Zacheta Gallery in Warsaw. The name of the gallery means "the incentive" in free translation, so I think it speak for itself. Unfortunatelly, the exhibitions was closed yesterday so you don't have a chance to see it any more.
I really like that all the sculptures were in black and have monolithic, massive solid. They were minimalist, somehow, because there wasn't any unnecessary ornamentation, only the simplicity of the matter and the shape.
The first one is an exploration of the alphabet - how far you can reduce repeated elements, to still have all letters recognizable. The funny thing is that on the left there is written many times: "Let's save the words. Let's save the ink".
And the second one says: "Easy? Easy." translated and written in pencil as "Okey? Okey." which doesn't reflect the nature of the picture for me.
