A few days ago I found the quote which describes me entirely. Those words was said by Peter Clifford "I'm learning. I'm doing the best I can right now, and I'm getting better with it every day"
There is simply no field in which I feel I'm really good at. I mean the field I mastered and I know very well, and you can ask my any question expecting high quality answer. It's not that I know nothing, of course not. I do something new and useful every single day in my life. Thought there must be some knowlegde hidden behind all those activities and years of practice. I might underestimate myself (that's one I'm really good at!) thought you can surely find some people claiming I'm a master at preparing gazpacho, keeping clean wardrobe or even at drawing my concept fashion sketches. The thing is I love trying new activities. This is my passion and my nature. And I love learning. I find so many fields interesting, useful and with potential that I sometimes dream about living a few lives (not only my own - the only one I have) to try all of this. Why not to master in fashion drawing? Or in architecture design? Or in online marketing? Photoshooting? Fabric painting? This is why you can see so many different categories in here. Because I'm simply passionate about all of them! It means as well that I'm not a professional in any of them. But with every single post I try to make some progress and show you better and better content. A few days ago I found the quote which describes me entirely. Those words was said by Peter Clifford "I'm learning. I'm doing the best I can right now, and I'm getting better with it every day" My watercolor adventure began years ago and had it's ups and downs. I concentrated on this technique about a year ago and I fell I learn something with every single painting. However, supported by the words of encouragement from people I appreciate, I decided to exhibit my artworks and to sell some of them. That's why I work on opening my shop on Etsy. Preparing adequate description, scanning and shooting good quality photos take quite a lot of time. Especially the last one. I don't want to talk about taking photos as such, the lighting, shutters etc. but about styling. My primary aim is to catch the eye of my potential client and to make him feel comfortable with my painting. That's why you can notice that I avoid positioning from one side (and wide angle lenses as well). So I was working en face. Bright background and dark frame with passepartout gives the contrast and shows the most important area on the picture. Interesting and complementary basis needs to match the painting with the intensity and the hue to determine the correlation with surrounding. Some additional accessories are very important too. Thanks to them we have the feeling of a whole situation - that someone just created some doodles of the drawing mannequin or just put down a fashion magazine. It makes us imagine the artwork in our own apartment. And that's the point! I hope that my tips will be useful for you and I hope I'll master my photographic skills some day to be able to present you amazing and inspiring photos. If you find this tips useful please share them with others. If there is still something unclear, please leave a comment with the question - there are no inadequate questions - so I'll answer all of them!
